INTERNMENT

An internment is where Mexico's immigration authority allows the entry of foreigners into Mexico. Please note that some nationalities are considered restricted and cannot obtain a visa upon arrival at our borders. Restricted nationalities require a visa prior to arrival in Mexico.

We will detail the different types of procedures that can be applied as appropriate to your case:

TEMPORARY RESIDENT / PERMANENT RESIDENT - FAMILY

If in your case, you have family living in Mexico, you can apply in this category of temporary resident or permanent resident - family. You can apply for this if you have a family member who is in Mexico, provided that this person is financially solvent. For this visa you'll be required to provide a birth certificate and/or marriage certificate (apostilled) to prove kinship. These must be translated (with an official translator)if they are in a language other than Spanish

TEMPORARY RESIDENT / PERMANENT RESIDENT - JOB OFFER

This is one of the most requested of all the visas. For this visa, you must have a written job offer from a company with a proof of employment from the employer. Once you have your visa authorized by the Mexican embassy, we'll exchange the visa for a temporary or permanent resident card.
